Workshop in Lyon, December 2009
The second meeting of the partners of the COMUNIS project was held near Lyon on 3 and 4 December 2009. With the exception of Slovenia, all project partners were present. Also present were the representatives of the French and Swiss contact points and a representative of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). Intense exchanges were necessary to validate the ongoing work and to plan the next WP.
The project team was warmly welcomed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lyon. Thanks to the interesting presentations and visits, the participants were given an insight into the main challenges related to the integration and cooperation strategies in favour of the local economic development of the communes of the Tarare Region.
The first part of the meeting was primarily dedicated to the internal project management tools. During the second part, particular attention was paid to the important task of finalizing the Balanced Score card. The Participative Work Design has proved to be a beneficial approach: a crucial phase was completed and a timeframe that suits all participants was redefined.
After the meeting, the participants had the possibility to taste the world famous local cuisine.
The next partner meeting will be held in Sonthofen (Germany) at the beginning of June 2010.
